Still no single... Pushing 6 weeks

 

In my experience MO fans truly are the worst and always ruin my experience at their shows

 

Yea as they get bigger it’s more of a “hang out” show for that one song they know then for the music. But that’s why I always get as close as I can to see them these days

 

I made the mistake of bringing a date to see them last time so we had to stand in the back and let me tell ya... lol

 

You tell them, they either go up with you or they stay in the back by themselves.. do this with every partner until one goes up with you.. once that happens you're set.

 

At least we’ll be done with the ‘BRAND NEW!!!! JESSEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!’ screams soon.

I loathe anyone who wears BN shirts to MO shows, instantly.

I say that based entirely on the fan themselves, and not the band or the members.

 

Yeah even before the Jesse stuff came out, it was a whole new level of insufferable. It would be like.... people in full Taylor swift garb shouting her name at an Ed Sheeran show because he used to open for her. Just. Stop. Yes they had some connection. No you don't need to show that you are a fan of the "superior band that started it" or whatever. Also there was just an unhealthy level of obsession. But that also happens with Andy and people sadly. Screaming shit about his beard like. Stop. Grow up.

 

Andy isn’t afraid to tell people to knock it off which is great.

I bought vip to the acoustic tour they did a few years ago and there must have only been like 20 of us there and it’s a small church space. there was this chick with a camera and her shutter was hella loud over their talking and music so he stopped and said he really didn’t like his photo taken like that in such an intimate setting and it was distracting blah blah. As soon as he started a song she started snapping and he just told her off in front of everyone and made her look like a fool. Twas amazing

 

If I have to listen to another beard question or comment at a show, meet and greet, or behind a venue - I might snap.

It’s weird. We all think it’s weird. Stop it.

 

it’s not even that great of a beard. the drummer has a much better one.

I feel like at this point they are probably more frustrated than we are that they can’t say more about the album.

 

I’m not saying someone laughed real hard when I told them that. But I’m not saying they didn’t.

 

WHY DON'T YOU TELL THAT SAME SOMEONE THAT WE'VE WAITED EIGHT WEEKS FOR A SINGLE/ALBUM ANNOUNCEMENT AND THEN SEE WHO'S LAUGHING YOU HEATHEN

They better be careful, if they don't play their cards right I'll wait an extra five minutes before I pre-order the record. That'll show'em!

Would not be upset at them keeping the band together for the tour. Lol

 

Was curious about what the SK show will be like. (I'll be there.) Knowing the SK crowd, I couldn't imagine an acoustic set would go over all that well.

 

So this song gave me quite a roller coaster ride.

First, I was a little bored.
Then, the backing instrumentation kicked in and it got a little creepy-weird, the kind of thing that fills me with existential dread.
Next, Andy’s vocals went up an octave, the music swelled, and I felt like I was in the third act of an indie movie, riding in a car with someone I’d only met in the first act.
Finally, the song ended with Andy and Kevin together and it felt right.

I should probably give it another listen, but really, that first one was a trip.
