I probably wouldn't have noticed it took place in Atlanta if I didn't know beforehand. The only thing I recognized as ATL were the ATL twins

 

Is that goodfellas pizza place real mr atlanta?

I mean it's not like there was Coke, Delta, CNN stuff everywhere.

 

Finally saw the Driver so I listened to Edgar's appearance on the Canon. I could listen to him talk about movies forever, the conversation between he and Amy Nicholson is great and touches on Bullitt and the Getaway and Walter Hill's history, as well as some behind the scenes/analytical Baby Driver talk. A good listen.

 

Yeah Goodfellas is real. And terrible. Like the worst.

 

I'm not from Atlanta, but I got strangely excited when I noticed the peanut butter was from Publix.

 

I lived north of Atlanta for a couple years and nothing seemed "ATL forced" to me about the movie

 

my boss called me baby driver today while I was using the pallet jack and I was about ready to rampage through the store.

Showed a few friends this clip this afternoon and now they're dying to see this. Really is one of the best opening scenes I've seen.

I wasn't sure how the 3rd act would pan out, I already had a list of possibilities but I def didn't see that coming. It was awesome.

Reminded me of Hot Fuzz - the entire film I was expecting it to be an action film and then it wasn't and then it was after all.

I love Edgar Wright.

 

Also i need to know was Bats short for batshit crazy

Finally saw this. Loved it, but why does Spacey say "I never work with the same guys twice" and then in the following scene he's working with all the same people again?

 

Same team. He rotates the same people around, but it's never the same combination

 

Just saw this and loved it. Great movie

 

I took it to mean he could do different combos of the same people too, but it could also tie in with Doc saying Baby is his good luck charm. He thinks with Baby behind the wheel it doesn't matter if he starts to use the same people.

 

When he originally said that I assumed he meant that Baby is the only constant member of the group. However, using Baby, Don Draper, and his girlfriend is 75% of the same group.
