I didn't say the jokes weren't good. I said they undermined the tone of the scenes which is completely true.

 

Nah.

 

Ragnarok was the best Thor movie, and all the jokes landed, but it made me worry that every Marvel movie is just going to have to tone of GOTG if they don’t know what else to do

Yeah the first 2 Thor movies sucked but he’s easily the most entertaining character.

I want to go back in time and say I told you so to the AP.net thread about how Age of Ultron aged and people's thoughts on "the best comic book movie ever" now.

 

I still really enjoy it and will watch any time it's on, but I can definitely see why people didn't like it.
