I’m sure the addition of X-Men in a few years will keep the MCU going strong.

 

Last time it didn't go so well ...

 

Fox is apparently working on a movie:

To be honest I'm not all that excited about a watered down X-Men experience. The lack of an edge will bug me with those characters more than it has with all the others combined.

 

I'm more excited about the MCU being able to use Dr. Doom and other FF villains compared to the x-men characters.

 

I don’t see a huge difference between the current X-Men films and the MCU, aside from the fact that Fox uses their one “fuck” allowed in each PG-13 film. I suppose certain X-Men characters would lose a little of their edge in the MCU, but most would fit in.

 

I don't like the current films very much either. The version of the characters I want to see would not fit in very well.

And then the Fantastic Four would show up and all wear outfits made by Tony Stark.

 

MCU Fantastic Four and X-Men won't even have powers, all their abilities will just come from Stark suits.

 

You joke and I legit worry lol. I’m still mad about Spider-Man.

‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and Marvel’s Endless Endgame

 

We won’t get Fantastic Four characters until phase 4. The deal won’t be finalized until 2019 and A4 was filmed in late 2017.

 

Man, I'm sure Disney must be real upset with Disney for taking the record from them

 

I just want Shuri to become the next Iron Man/Iron Heart. She's badass.

 

There are rumors that everything following the Phoenix movie could be scrapped.

The whole situation over there is confusing as hell.

First two are way cooler.

 

She becomes Black Panther for a bit in the comics. If that happens it probably won’t be until BP3. They’ll want to give T’Challa one more solo film to shine.


Or she could put on the suit in A4 being that T’Challa is gone.

If Avengers 4 takes Stark off the table, that'll give us more room for Reed Richards to take the role he should have in the Marvel Universe. I'm also still hoping a Stark death sets up Peter to make his own costume in Homecoming 2, but I don't know if it's too late to save this version of the character.

Anyways, the X-Men/F4 deal not finalizing until post-Thanos has me hopeful. I know this is making all the money, but so did/is Black Panther. Between that, Guardians, and Ragnarok, plus Wonder Woman, Logan, and Deadpool, Feige might have more incentive to let those properties have their own identity. (To the extent that Disney allows, but they let Black Panther, Ragnarok, and Last Jedi happen, so I dunno.)

Man, I hate this popular suggestion, lol. Shuri and Riri are different characters. Are we also gonna conflate Moon Girl into this? Bad enough we conflated Iron Man and Spider-Man as much as we did.

Introduce an American young, smart black girl named Riri Williams in an "Invincible Iron Man" film some time down the road. And let Shuri go on her own Wakandan character journey.
