Brie Larson and Captain Marvel is what I'm most excited about in the MCU

Either way, we know that Avengers 4 probably follows it up and she'll probably be there.

 

For sure. I won't be mad if she is not in Infinity War, but I just don't see any reason to believe such claims until someone actually sees the movie.

 

I don't see why the director would lie about it. Captain Marvel was a major presentation at comic-con this year so they're not trying to keep the character a secret in the MCU and The Russo brothers have never tried to hide any characters in the film and have been honest about who appears so far. Maybe she was meant to originally be in it but chose against it after deciding to set her film in the '90s.

 

Maybe they're saving her for Avengers 4. We already know Wasp doesn't show up until then. They also could've planned on including her initially but decided that explaining who she is was too much with everything else going on in the film.

I feel like she'll definitely be in like a post credits scene or something, but she's definitely not part of the larger film's story.

 

Is Avengers 4 going to be a continuation of the Infinity War storyline or will Infinity War be over after 3? I know initially it was a two-part film but I've got a bit lost on the way.

 

The way they are playing it up, it will basically be the fallout. They say that the title for 4 is a spoiler to what happens in 3.

 

Ah, so it could be that Thanos could still be ruling the universe with the Infinity Gauntlet and it's the fallout of that... OR he's been stopped but there are massive consequences so the film focuses on the fallout of that...?! Excited to see how it all plays out.

 

Marvel released a HQ photo of Spider-man's suit for Infinity War

 

In before everyone complains, but I think that suit looks awesome.

 

I like the suit, too.

 

I know I've said it before but I still think it's an ugly suit.

 

I think this is less ugly than the Iron Spider outfit honestly but I'm still not a fan, especially since he's only just rejected it at the end of Homecoming. Having him then use it in his next appearance is lame.

 

I like the design.

I'm assuming it won't be a mask.

 

I assume the suit has better defense than the standard outfit so Tony tells him he can only help if he wears the suit.

 

Still makes the whole scene in HC seem pointless. He says he's going to stay close to the ground for a while and then helps fight Thanos, haha.

 

Eh, if you see a world threatening villain like Thanos and know you have the ability to help, I don't think he's gonna say "nah I'll lay low still"

 

I think Thanos is an exception haha

 

Still like it a lot more than the Homecoming/CW one. Still think it's awesome and perfect for Infinity War. Still hoping Tony dies and Peter has a traditional suit in the next Spider-Man film.

Eh, I like this way more than the Iron Spider. Nice blend of Iron Spider, Ben Reilly's Spider-Man suit, and the classic suit.

I said elsewhere that I'd prefer the Iron Spider if it had been just an Easter egg for Homecoming, but since he's gonna actually use it, I prefer this nice red/gold/navy design. Really striking.

He's still not an Avenger, though. He's just helping with this big threat that could end the universe as he knows it, and doing so with everything available to him. This doesn't change that ending unless he wears this costume in the Homecoming sequel.

 

One of the films that I should see on the big screen next year, can they just please follow the comics. Civil War ending is really disappointing.

 

I feel like this sort of makes him an Avenger. They only really come together for huge threats. I get what you mean but it still seems awkward to me to have him turn it down and then immediately wear it. Idk, maybe they'll sell it better in the movie although I doubt I'll care very much when I'm actually watching it, haha.

 

Looks like '4' started filming today.

 

Sam Jackson confirms he isn't in either film.
