Totally yelled, "OH WHAT!" when this happened. Definitely a huge surprise for the film.

 

Not a big fan of those movies, I see.

 

I wouldn't consider either one necessarily BAD (I'd consider Ragnarok one of the most fun MCU movies, actually), but this really should be much better than either one. That being said, I have the unpopular opinion that Black Panther is barely above average, so take that for what you will

 

Ragnarok is the second best MCU film imo. I would be fine if this didn't reach those heights.

 

If this isn’t the best marvel film to date I’m instantly disappointed honestly.

What is that you’re hoping for in Infinity War?

 

A satisfying lead up to the "real" ending with Avengers 4. Some heartfelt/emotional moments, good spectacle. My expectations aren't crazy, I don't think. Going in fully expecting this to jump around a lot and feel a bit disjointed, but it'd have to be real bad to distract me from the movie.

 

The fact that Marvel was able to make a film with 20+ main superheroes that has been well received is a feat in itself.

 

Without a doubt, it's pretty amazing that a movie like this does work (especially when compared to, say, "Justice League"), even if it has a lot of fat on it. You could say that about the first "Avengers" and "Civil War" too - both of which I think worked better than this.

 

Completely serious. I want the culminating two films to end it all on a high note...not with two films that middle out in the batch of films.

 

A 6 hour infinity epic would be killer for my re-watch time slots.

 

Bought my ticket for Friday afternoon. Decent seat too; middle left-ish.

I'm ready to cry, honestly.

 

All of which are better than AoU.

I liked the first avengers LOVED winter soldier...was whatever towards civil war and didn’t really like AOU

 

As unbelievably pumped as I am for this movie (my goodness am I pumped), I could totally see myself liking it less than 4 of the Phase 3 movies released so far. It'll absolutely be better than Doctor Strange and Homecoming, but the rest of the recent MCU stretch has just been so strong.

Just got out of a midnight showing. Am dead.

 

This was a wild ride, and an insanely rewarding experience. Say what you will about story points, over stuffing, etc, this was damn exciting.
