My friends and I were discussing whether Natalie Portman actually showed up on set, or if they just used archival footage of her. My money is on the latter. If I remember correctly, she's kinda at odds with Marvel, or at least wasn't crazy about them last I recall. I bet she was just as surprised as we were, but I'm genuinely curious and could be wrong. She didn't even have a line and her thing happened off-screen.

Maybe I’m in the minority here, and I appreciated some of the comedic elements it brought, but wish they didn’t have hybrid Bruce/Hulk and chubby Thor the whole movie.

 

I liked that fat thor still kicked ass? and that him lightning-suiting up braided his beard

 

She was pissed when Patty Jenkins got fired from Dark World iirc cause that was the reason she signed on for that film.

 

Epic did an Avengers event for IW in Fortnite last year and again this year.

 

This is exactly what my theater got (in that order)

 

I'm learning so much in this thread, I love it.

EDIT: would've loved to see a Jenkins version Dark World after seeing Wonder Woman.

This is actually my first time in an IMAX theater I’m hype

 

Must be pretty crazy when you get dusted and come back and see that half the people you know are 5 years older and you're not.

 

My brain can’t even grasp the Rogers ending, the more I think the more questions I have.

 

The more I think about it the crazier it gets. A lot of people will be five years older, a lot of people you knew will be dead due to accidents as a direct result of the decimation (think of all the traffic deaths alone), a lot of people will be dead due to inevitable suicide rates...the return is just about as chaotic as the disappearance.

 

I hope this doesn't sound messed up, but it gives them a lot to work with in future films, dealing with the fallout of both events.

 

I wasn't totally clear on whether Scott Lang's ex/her husband dusted or not. We only saw an older Cassie… right?

 

Wow. Plenty of things I could point out that didn't make a ton of sense or weren't that great but overall... man, what an absolute ride. I couldn't be happier with this being a bookend.

I feel mentally drained from this. I'll need to check back in once I have more time to digest.

 

I was curious about that too. They only showed us Cassie so maybe they’ll elaborate on that in the next Ant-Man movie.

 

Just finished watching it. Holyfuck, that was wonderful and epic.

Lol before I realized the credits were being done like a curtain call on the saga, I was like “credited this early in the list, huh? Ok...”

 

Did Colbie Smoulders actually appear in this? She got a credit, but I don’t think I saw her once.
