Memes are just one part of measuring cultural relevance. It is important to remember that meme culture is predominantly young people in their teens-twenties, which is a risky demographic to rely on.

References come in other ways. Remember all the bullet time parodies after The Matrix? Without saying it, everyone knew what film the Barbie trailer was referencing. References to Vito Corleone show up in childrens' movies.

I’m just joking around, I haven’t been to a movie in forever. It always felt awkward when you were getting out of a movie and it was still bright outside.

It’s weird now in winter too when you go in at 3/4 and then come out and it’s so dark

I just watched this exact movie this last Wednesday afternoon. It was fun!

Seems like a pretty chill time to watch a movie if one’s schedule happens to allow for it.

  18. We saw it at 2 on Tuesday and came out and it was dark lmao

Best movie time is the 10AM showing and you get out at the perfect time for lunch and still have the day to do stuff. Never crowded, very accommodating of the wake and bake play that is imperative for this movie, and no obnoxious people who clap when sully beats and drowns the military dude or when the movie ends.

Full disclosure: The “Wednesday afternoon” showing I attended was actually 11am.

However, given that the movie is over three hours long, and however many trailer played before the film started, I’m still electing to call that “Wednesday afternoon.”

i've been doing sunday mornings, first showing. i wish they would start the showings at 8AM

the closest theater is a Cinemark five minutes from my apartment, so i can leave my apartment just before it starts and get there on time

I get up like 3 or 4 hours before my fiancé on the weekends sometimes and I’d love a showing that early
