My grandma on my dad's side is like 88 or 89 and she's looks the same and is as healthy as I remember her being growing up when she was 60-70. She still lives on her own, with her dog, and gardens, walks her dog around the neighborhood, and drives 1.5 hours down to see us when she can. She also likes to talk to me about how much she hates fox news and how trump is a moron and hope she gets to live long enough to see him impeached or die and I'm like hell yeah comrade grandma Carole . My grandpa, her husband, died when I was in high school which sucked because every time we visited them he was either in his recliner napping while watching the st louis cardinals were playing on Fox Sports or outside hanging out with his dogs so he was basically my hero.

My grandparents on my moms side are conservative christians that post minion memes and joel osteen quotes on facebook so...i like them a little less.

 

All my grandparents except one are alive and active as hell and I have a great grandma still runnin shit at 93

 

The person in the worst condition in my family is closer to my age than theirs sadly

 

My grandma is 73 and she’s feisty as hell. She’s my favorite person in the world that isn’t Sophie.

 

My grandpa was very physically and mentally ill and was killed by a cop when I was 19. I was very close with him but it’s weird in that I don’t really think about him anymore except I wish he could have met Soph. He would have adored her. But I also found out some things about him as I got older that recolored my perception of him, but that’s a story for another time. He was really good to me while he was here though.

 

Then as far as my dad’s parents go I never had much to do with them but from everything I’ve heard they kind of suck.
