I have a podcast

 

not a ton of music has been grabbing me lately. i think it’s because i cling to music most when i’m emotional or going trough personal turbulence and 2018 was probably my most stable year outta the last 10 or so. i just feel closed off to it. i don’t feel the drive to go to shows or check out new records or anything. it’s weird and a big turn for me

like i listened to the new foxing record this year. it was good and i’ll probably never listen to it again. i listened to boygenius. it was great and i’ll prob never listen to it again. 1975 was alright but i’ll probably never listen to it again

fun fact: i have a note on my phone where i’m writing about the ~6 years i lived on my own in Troy in a lyrical format, just for fun and expression and all that. the opening piece is called “I Hate Music Again” and the last one is “I Love Music Again”. this is a pattern in my life lol
