I would actually have to sit down and think about a proper top 5. But I ASSURE you Paramore would be #1.

 

Was that thrice/UO tour in like '05? I was in Detroit the night it was going on and was so pissed to miss it

 

Yeah my list is loaded with recency bias. Expanding to 6-10 would add in The Mars Volta, ATDI, Jay-Z, other stuff probably.

But I haven't been to many shows and have also been drunk for some of them so I wonder how newly sober me would rate some of these shows.

 

I'm trying to think of what else I would put in my top 5

Charly Bliss was a lot of fun

Maybe Phoebe Bridgers but it's hard to separate my extreme fandom from an objectively great performance

 

Seeing Coheed perform their first two albums was amazing. My memory is so fucked from destroying my brain for 5 years I really have a hard time looking back on the shows I went to.

Just looked it up and yes. It was 05. Setlist was incredible.

I was so happy they played To Awake and Avenge the Dead last time I saw them. Its my favorite closer ever.

I wish so badly that I kept track of all of the shows I went to. I kinda do now, with Instagram, but having 17 years of notes would have been so cool.

 

I'm so glad I don't because it's nice randomly remembering that I've seen certain artists
