The best thing I have for sports around here it where the Florida Panthers play Hockey. BB&T Center (also my bank, holllaaa) it's in a random town named Sunrise, right off a not too busy parkway and there is a giant mall you can park at right next door for free.

 

Yep I been around since 2007 or so prob.

 

That train ride is so convenient too. Free parking at the station, $5 gets you there and back, and it stops right in front of the arena

 

We live extremely close to the Carrollton stop too so we could probably just lyft to the stop if we wanted to for free with Laura's pass and not drive at all

I have to drive 20 minutes but it's not so bad. For rangers games I usually park for free at six flags, but I let my membership lapse so that's out for now

I need to buy Phillies/Marlins tickets, they are playing like 2 weeks into the season and they are real cheap.

Absolutely, and they are always pretty decent. Flyers usually only come down here like once a year though.

Whens the last time ya been to Asbury tho? I havent been but all my friends love it in the summer time

 

I was there in late August. I'll be fair--it's definitely turning around, lots of new construction, and Asbury Lanes is a pretty cool venue, but the boardwalk seems like it was left behind in a different era. Hopefully that will change, as the town itself seems pretty nice. It would still rank pretty low on my list of shore towns to visit though. Maybe in a couple years!
