I think Positions just had less bops and she's made so many classic songs

Ariana’s become one of my favorite artists but I like her records more for their highs than their consistencies. She’s got plenty of skippable songs.

Yours Truly remains my favorite, the rest jockey depending on my mood. Positions is def last but has grown a lot. Coincidentally, decided to buy the LP today as it’s grown sufficiently enough lol.

Yeah, I don’t think “she made it too fast” is an acceptable critique when Thank U Next exists.

Not gonna jump in on rankings but I will say she has great taste in album openers

Dangerous Woman is easily her best in my opinion, everything else has been hit or miss. She definitely has a lot of highs mixed with forgettable songs.

Dangerous Woman is my favorite pop album of all time. My Everything is one of my least favorite. Everything in between doesn't need ranking. lol

Finally started listening to this some recently & really dig it. Not as strong for me as thank u, next (easily my favorite, the one that made me a fan); doesn't have the highs of sweetener; kinda blends together. But, it's a chill album to listen to while driving at night. I can tell she had fun making it, & I find a little bit of that energy contagious. I connect more to sad, moody Ari, but I'm glad she seems to be in a good place.

Also, she apparently released a limited edition perfume with a 10-page mini-comic, & a legit comic book site decided to publish a fun piece about said comic, lol:

I was just coming in to say that. I haven't listened yet but that seems to be the big complaint. Do the songs sound finished?

I haven't listened yet, but I will soon. Aside from the remix, it's 4 new songs in 7 minutes lol

"test drive" definitely feels unfinished, so it makes sense it's a b-side. The song is pretty cool but kinda just... ends

all in all, the new songs are kinda Ari-by-the-numbers but they're all pretty good
