The Pixelmator news is good for those guys. I find the apps to be a bit frustrating to use at times and occasionally fall back to Photoshop or Lightroom for changes.

 

Been using Pixelmator for a while now for some really basic needs on the iPad but this is huge news. This app really lacks decent tutorials and guides - even YouTube instructionals are sparse. and I have to assume we'll get that at some point now.

 

Well, I just ordered a Mac Mini! Not arriving until December though. After messing around with BetterDisplay some more, I realized I was using it incorrectly and now my MBP is looking pretty damn good on my gaming monitor.

 

If a desktop Mac made any sense in my life, I would scoop up this Mac Mini instantly.

 

Just confirming, iPhone 12 should support the latest iOS, right?

My sister is the last one in the family to not update and I'm so annoyed to not have RCS in our family group chat lol. She claims her phone tells her it can't update! But my other sister with an XR updated fine!

 

So I’m a weirdo who uses the stock mail app in iOS and I hate all the changes it made to it in 18.1

any better mail apps out there?

My Mac Mini arrives tomorrow! Super excited, and it has me finally rearranging my desk. If anyone has any must have desk accessories, cable organizers, shelves, I’m all ears. (Or even just cool aesthetic things.)

 

Grovemade has a lot of awesome stuff.

 

I was looking at their matte desk mat earlier today (which I’m leaning towards getting). I didn’t even realize they had other accessories so I’ll have to take a look.

 

I have their desk mat and a few other things. Come highly recommended.

 

Ordered the navy matte desk pad from Grovemade. Was very tempted to get one of their succulent planters but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it considering the price of the mat + shipping. I might go back for it later though.

I have a Hue Go on my desk that I love, and there is a part of me that is tempted to buy a second one to put on the opposite side of my desk but idk; if I’m gonna go that route I might as well get the table lamp or even just a cool fixture + Hue bulb.

 

I have two of the planters. They’re super cute. Of course one of the cacti is now going bonkers tall.

 

Ugh, ok, I’m definitely going to order one..or two...

Also, I’m impressed with your cable management. I really need to figure that out. Mine isn’t terrible but it feels impossible to get it looking as clean as yours. (Doesn’t help that my outlet location is less than ideal.)

 

Zip ties and cable hooks and hiding things from sight lines is key. And being an obsessive weirdo like me helps.

 

going from a 13 pro to 16 pro max has been a pretty huge upgrade haha

Getting a new computer always feels like a fresh start, so I'm checking out Arc browser and it's pretty cool. Only time will tell if I adjust to it enough that I make it my primary browser, but split view is pretty great.
