On Apple Music (Windows), is there a way to identify which songs on your Apple Music Library are not in the subscription Apple Music catalogue. I think you maybe could do it on iTunes but for the life of me can't find out how to do it on the "new" application. I've switched computers a number of times at this point so unfortunately can't just go by something like Downloaded Songs. The closest I can seemingly get is iCloud Status, specifically Uploaded and Matched, but I know for a fact songs a lot of songs I have on Matched are a part of Apple Music streaming catalogue while I think some are only available via the iTunes store and not from the subscription Apple Music catalogue.

 

Loving the Dynamic Island and Action Button, which I have set to open a folder with various shortcuts.

Mirroring is cool, but this bug got me too. Annoying.

 

I probably have, too, I just ignore all macOS notifications these days.

Video Viewer. C'mon, Apple. It works so well on the Mac. I'm like 75% of the way to having two laptops taking up space on my desk just for actually usable features and to keep work and personal separate. Bring back the 12-inch MacBook and I'd be happy.

Yeah, both my banking app (Navy Fed) and Amazon are about to get the boot from my home screen if they don't update icons. I don't see either app implementing it, so trying to figure out what will take their place. The credit union i can see them just not caring about it, while Amazon will intentionally ignore it as they do all iOS UI conventions.

The surprise update for me was the Philips Hue app. I really thought they were gonna skip this feature, so was quite surprised to see dark mode icon on newest beta update.

 

is there a way to watch downloaded movies on the apple tv 4k? I have added it to the library in the apple tv app on my macbook but when I go to the library on my apple tv device it doesn't show up. I've found a workaround using plex but then I have to keep my computer open and connected and I don't always want to do that

 

lmao I was ready to type Plex so fast. glad I kept reading.

 

I used Infuse for a bit to do this. Paid for their subscription, connected it to one of the cloud services they support, and could stream that way.

 

I have had a bit of a lesson learned today!

I bought an iphone and used a £120 voucher from when i bought a laptop earlier in year. Great. Did the send your old iphone away thing.

For the value of the old iphone, i noticed my credit card money back was £120 lighter than what they advised. Then it clicked. They have gave me a new £120 apple voucher back! What a pain in the arse!

To be fair, i phoned up apple and they are changing it to my card.

 

The M4 Mac is already a bit of a disappointment before it has even been announced but it is only an incremental update this year.

 

I'm assuming/hoping most gains will be in efficiency, seeing how FUCKING THIN the new iPad is.

 

Yeah, I'm actually holding off buying anything during Prime Day that's a M3 because the gains in M4 are pretty great. Also the chance to get a base model with 16 GB of memory instead.

Well, color me impressed - my titanium S10 came off my wrist yesterday while playing with my nephew and fell not too far to the ground but into some rough terrain. Not a scratch on it.

 

Got a new iPad Pro recently and cannot, for the life of me, get it to sync my contacts. I've tried pretty much everything suggested in various threads/support topics. Just never takes and I can't figure it out.

 

My contacts overall are a huge mess and i also can’t figure it out
