Anyone recall what time I can possibly set up a same-day pickup on release day? Like when Apple makes it available.

 

When I worked at the fruit stand, it was 5 or 6 am iirc

Not sure if that was everywhere though, also I'm on the west coast and left apple 2 1/2 years ago

 

I’m sure I’ll be happy with the iPhone 16 Pro Max, especially the bigger screen size and better battery.

I’ve held off on the S10 as I was disappointed with the design largely remaining the same. I was hoping for an iPhone X approach to the 10 year but I guess I’ll wait for the reviews.

 

Another thing I just noticed about my ultra 1… apparently I wore off the coating on the screen in just the size of my finger tip where I always tap. I don’t know how as none of my other watches ever did this and I don’t use chemicals or harsh lotions or anything.

 

I wish the sports app included USL soccer but i know apple isn’t doing that anytime soon….

also no watch complications?

Only getting around 11 hours out of my S7 today was the last straw.

 

WatchOS 11 has been draining my Ultra 2 battery by a large margin.

Has anyone had this experience? I was told to turn off Smart Stack. Not sure if it will work but I’ll check tomorrow

 

Yeah, my S7 during beta was awful, improved a bit with RC, and now is absolutely terrible again. Smart Stack didn’t really make a difference for me but it’s worth a shot.

 

Canceled my Pro Max preorder. Decided I wanted to see the phones irl first since I’ve never even held a 15 Pro Max.

Have you gone for a S10 in titanium? If so let me know your impression's!

 

Yep! I got slate, could have gone it or natural as I also have a silver milanese band here but I think it would have looked slightly off.

 

Nice! Interested to know how slate lands compared to the old stainless steal graphite.

Just used the new transcription feature while doing an interview and it’s great!

 

I've been wanting to use it during meetings and it might just be my setup but it's not great for that.

But one on one? That's ideal.

 

I told myself I wasn't going to get a new iPhone this year and I here I sit with a new 16 Pro. Weak. Anyways, one instant reaction of mine is that Tones and Tone Mapping is the single coolest Camera feature they have added in at least a decade.

 

That is the one thing I want but I think I'm patient enough to keep using Lightroom Mobile in the meantime.

 

I don't think it's going to necessarily replace more precise photo editing by any means, but I think the point and shoot types would be thrilled after a small learning curve.
