It's a welcome addition to the majority cisgendered male scene.

 

But also - I want an Ultra 2 in black now.

also I just wanna say iOS 18 goes so fucking hard -- I love it! Might get a 16 Pro Max after all.

 

The best improvement is the addition of third party controls IMO. I now have three cameras accessible to me from the lock screen - Halide on the action button, Instagram on the lock screen, and stock Camera through the swipe. It's awesome as they each have their merits.

 

I was sold on getting a Series 10 and considering seeing what pickup options exist tomorrow but now I think I'll wait to see just how much better the black Ultra 2 looks. Also helps that it's DLC coated, not PVD, so it should hold up quite well.

Not to say that PVD isn't great but it's definitely not as good.

 

I’ve had the ultra since it came out and I have not once regretted getting it.

I have big arms and hands though so ymmv

i am gargantuan so the ultra was the only option that looks normal on me...showing great restraint in still not ordering the black one IMO

 

I literally just returned the one I was trying out for a couple of months, I didn't mind the size during the day but wow, it was uncomfortable at night. I wear my watch when I sleep because I prefer to keep my phone out of the room at night so I don't wake up and use it and I have a tiny bedroom so no good space for an alarm clock.

 

After really enjoying the window organization features in Sequioa, I'm increasingly upset that they didn't bother bringing it to Stage Manager in some capacity.

It makes no sense to me. If you're going to introduce that feature, update all the watch faces.

 

I ordered a new M4 iPad Pro a couple weeks back, paid with a combo of gift cards + trade in + just enough on my Apple Card to ensure that it left me with only a couple dollars balance once the trade in was processed.

They sent me a gift card for my trade in this morning (after saying explicitly it would be refunded to the card.) Thankfully, their chat support is pretty much always excellent and they got it sorted out for me in under 15 minutes.

Expecting to have to do the same thing with my 16PM/15PM trade-in that I also used some gift cards on.

 

Live Activities with Apple’s Sports app is so clutch. I don’t even have to think about keeping up with scores anymore.

 

I only ever seem to get dodger scores. never shows me hockey or bills

 

Braves/Falcons/Atlanta United games have all just automatically started up a Live Activity for me.
