I’m really curious to see how the world reacts to VR, especially now that Apple is in the game. They have a way of bringing things to the forefront.

if it does catch hold, and really becomes as integral as peoples phones & social media, I think this will be the first time that I’m left behind by technology.

I just can’t see how it would ever become part of my life.

 

I think it will be huge when the price point is more affordable in later iterations.

There's no doubt that the Vision Pro is better than anything else on the market though.

 

Off-topic but does anyone know a good free or subscriptionless app for offline music listening? Like if I have some friend’s tracks that aren’t on any of the streamers and am looking for an app where I can upload/download specific files and listen while out and about. I’m moving away from my Apple Music subscription generally and it doesn’t seem like it will let me sync my non-streaming library to my phone anymore, unless I’m just missing something in here.

A lot of those sync settings aren’t available without a sub. I’m reading that it may be able to sync over wired but haven’t gotten it to work yet

 

Im having an absolute nightmare with my AirPods Pro after using them with one of those wireless transmitters on the plane.

long story short, I’m having to manually connect to my iPhone every time I want to use them rather than them auto connecting. It’s brutal and I’m feeling like an old man here.

 

Maybe try this? Worth a shot.

I bought a couple Dell 27 inch 4k monitors when I replaced my iMac. I miss that screen, but it’s been fine so far. Don’t have the desk space anymore for a personal iMac and an WFH windows setup.

Anyone want to recommend an iPhone case?

 

Apples own silicon case is my favourite.

 

That’s what I’ve had but I just had a drop and a little chip so figured I’d do a little homework before just going with that again

 

I’ve been using Spigen cases for probably 6 years

 

I don’t use a case

 

I wish I were that brave

 

Once that maroon iPhone Pro comes out I’m going case-less again.

I use Rhinoshield and I’m satisfied.

Bullstrap for me. I like leather.

 

Before I had the Otterbox slim and that case saved my iPhone numerous times.

 

Apple leather case on my last 3 phones. Love them.

 

Yeah I do the leather case as well.

I’d go caseless but I drop my phone too damn much lol. No screen protector though.
