Ventura has been rapid for me so far. First time in a few years that I didn’t test the beta so I’m pleasantly surprised.

Safari feels a lot faster as well.

it's very very fast, just so many bugs! like what is this random bar in Apple Music that won't go away?

Might be holding off for a point release on Ventura if there's going to be issues...

  10. I almost always wait for .1 for Mac updates. i rely on the computer too much. I update iOS day one on everything though.

I don’t think I love the more pronounced outline on the dynamic island in apps on 16.1

  13. What changed? It … I think looks the same to me?

I don’t have a comparison photo of my own, but it wasn’t this pronounced when in use on 16.0

Not a huge deal by any means, but my eyes were never drawn to it before, and they have been since updating haha

Comparison from last night looks a little thinner to yours there.

    But me right now now:

Do you know what the pattern is for when/why the border appears? I got a 14 Pro yesterday and haven’t been able to determine a rhyme or reason. Sometimes it’s there, sometimes not. At first I assumed it was for “active” multitasking features but that doesn’t seem to be consistent either

It seems to only appear for me for when the dynamic island is in use against a true black background. It doesn’t show up for me in apps that aren’t true black, but it does on say… instagram with dark mode enabled. The top of my home screen wallpaper is pure black, so when I have music playing, the outline is always there on my home screen.
