Hahaha, nailed it. Yeah, I'm not exactly proud of owning it after Elon's shenanigans over the past year or so, but i still really enjoy the car and haven't had issues with it after almost two years now. Back in 2020, there were less alternatives, and while I think Tesla is still at the top (mostly thanks to the Supercharger network), Ford and others are quickly gaining on them. Unless Tesla undergoes some leadership changes in the near future, my next car will certainly be electric, but won't be a Tesla. Like you said, whatever I get next must support CarPlay!

I just wish they'd give us Apple Music support at the very least! It feels so dated getting into such a technologically advanced car, just to use standard Bluetooth for streaming, with basic on-screen song selection.

Also, fuck Autopilot/FSD. I hate it. Absolutely ridiculous that people pay $10K for beta vaporware that shouldn't be operated on public roads.

My 2019 Intel Pro is so getting traded in for a Midnight Air

 

GORGEOUS Macbook Air. OMGGGGG. Of course this comes out just after I got the 2020 M1 Air (at $1000 it was a great used deal). Hard to justify upgrading, which says a lot about how great M1 still is almost two years later.

The only thing I'm missing on my current Air is MagSafe charging. I need that feature back!

I looked away for a minute after the Air announcement and came back super confused why they were showing an old laptop. Was just the Pro with the M2, lol

I’m gonna have to try REALLY hard not to trade in my early 2020 Intel MBP for a midnight M2 Air

 

Yeah, but the 13" is now less "Pro" than the others. Really not sure why they revamped the 13" yet again, but cool I guess. I'd stick with the Air unless I needed to splurge on the nicer Pros. Cost just doesn't make sense for what you get on the 13" Pro now.

 

Things I'll probably never use, but kinda looks cool ... stage manager.
