Got my 13 Pro through the Apple Store app. Overall much more seem-less than their website which always hangs every year.

 

I'm not having any luck on either lol

 

finally sierra blue pro secured

 

Smooth process for me this morning. Smoother than it’s ever been maybe.

 

128gb gold pro, finally went through, still day 1.

 

Got that Sierra Blue Pro baby going to be here next Friday

 

Got a Pro Max 256gb with a new unlimited data plan for the same price as my previous plan. I could basically cancel my broadband sub if the 5G is fast enough in my area, lol.

I haven't upgraded since I got my X four years ago. Excited! This is gonna be a looong week.

 

Snagged a Pro Max 128 for next Friday. If I wasn't on the upgrade every year plan I would have probably skipped this year but hey I'm excited for the 120 HZ.

 

I never use a case, but the app fed me a suggestion for the Sequoia Green leather case and it looks so good. I'm going to miss my 11 Pro Max.

 

Anyone do the Verizon upgrade program directly through the carrier? I was looking and it looks like they offer 24 or 30 months now for upgrading and I see that if I upgrade to the 13 pro max from my 12 pro I can actually save money on my bill by going from 24 to 30 months for the leasing part.

If I were to switch to 30 does that mean I can no longer upgrade yearly or can I do it just every 15 months?

 

Pretty sure you have to pay off the remainder of your phone if you want to upgrade. Could be wrong.

Verizon has a chat feature on their website though and they're usually pretty quick to respond, so you could check with them

 

Same, this is the longest I've gone without upgrading phones, going to be an unbelievable difference lol

 

switching from T-Mobile to ATT and looks like I'm finally trading in my old faithful 8 plus for a 13. I'll miss my home button.

Do any of you use screen protectors? Trying to decide whether to get one or not. Grabbed the 256 Sierra Pro for next week

 

With the new screen tech I think there's even less reason to need a screen protector and I never thought they were needed to begin with iMO.

 

Yeah especially when you have a case with bumpers to protect your screen from drops

 

i never had one until the 12pro last year and now i'll probably keep using them. it's a nice little extra protection from scratches/cracks, it's easy to put on, and unobtrusive.

 

I can see both sides. On one hand, a bad screen protector might distort your screen, but they protect your investment, and with the screens being perfectly flat again the screen protectors fit better.

 

never used a screen protector and never experienced a scratched up screen. though I am considering getting some Paperlike for my iPad for drawing reasons
