I held off on the mini for the 12 series but I keep seeing it in stores and AH I just want the 13 mini soooo bad.

 

I'm baffled that the majority of people prefer a massive screen/phone but to each their own

 

Typing on a small phone feels cramped and a bigger screen is great for multimedia :)

 

Let me introduce you to… the iPad.

 

Too big for me personally imo. Typing on tablets sucks and you can't hold an iPad with one hand

 

That’s why I don’t like the Max’s. I can’t hold them with one hand and text. Maybe my hands are the problem though

 

In-hand, my Mini doesn’t feel or look small to my brain anymore, but obviously the pocket-ability and weight benefits are still forever there. But it doesn’t feel like I’m using a small device for typing, etc anymore. My brain has seemingly rewired itself over time because when I first got it, it felt tiny.

 

I spend most of my day on a computer for work and that's where most of my typing is done, and I'm not watching anything on my phone that's more than a few minutes long.

My main use for my phone is as a music/podcast listening device, texting/chatting, some reading of the news, and the (very) occasional phone call.

 

I used to be opposed to having a larger phone, but now my massive hands can't imagine going back.

 

Even though I know it wouldn’t happen, if I could take the batter from max and put it into a regular pro that would perfect the phone to me. Switched from a 11 pro max to a 12 pro and miss the battery with how much I’m on my phone on a daily basis

 

Imo, the size of my S21 is perfect, so I'd imagine the 12 Pro would be a perfect size for me as well. I guess the S21 is slightly taller but the same width

 

I had no idea. I guess due to this thread (and my love for it, heh) I assumed it was a big success.

the black levels on the m1 iPad are insane

 

I own very few devices (no iPad) so for my portable device I do enjoy a large'ish screen. The regular 12's size is the sweet spot for me but I might go for the Max again this year.

 

Do people like the HomePod Mini? Thinking of getting one or two as I moved into a bigger place and can't rely on my studio monitors anymore to reach into the kitchen/deck.

 

I love mine.

I have a mini in the living room and our music listening went way up once we got it. Going to get one for the bedroom soon too now

 

I have a stereo pair in the bedroom - one on each bedside table. It’s a joy. I love them.

 

bought AirTags today as a friend's birthday present and ... also had to get myself some. I am in awe. These things are dope as hell.

 

All I can think of when I see those is the scene in Along Came Polly where he bought her one and she left her keys in the freezer.

 

i use mine every day in my home office, it is fantastic.

Apple Acquires Classical Streaming Service Primephonic

Apple has acquired Primephonic, the classical music streaming service, for an undisclosed amount, the company tells Billboard. The Dutch startup, which maintains offices in Amsterdam and New York, will shut down its service on Sept. 7, with plans to launch a dedicated experience for classical music fans in 2022.
