I have the Belkin one like this. I love it, never have had the drop from driving and sticks on so easy

If they want to use their phone for GPS or music. Can not be using the phone in any way without a mount. Fairly confident even the cupholder doesn't qualify if they feel like being a dick.

 

This is why CarPlay is essential.

 

Georgia and Tennessee both have this law, and I can tell you they are as far from enforced as a law could be.

 

Yeah, I just use a short USB to lightning cable that plugs into the center console and do everything through CarPlay. My car 2018 Honda Odyssey) has a small flat area there that's perfect for holding my phone.

 

I have the same van and put my phone in the same place. Pretty sure if I upgraded to a Max-sized phone it wouldn't fit.

 

Probably not. But personally I hope my phones only continue to get smaller (or at least stay ~the same size).

 

I need one of these! But first I need a new phone...

Just got it onto my iPad Air but haven’t messed around with it yet

 

Yep. Pretty easy and smooth install on my iPad but PIP is broken for me right now.

 

So I pushed out an hour and a half long video on Final Cut last night and it was a little shorter than exporting the same video on my old PC editing rig. I am now comfortable with selling the PC. I'm in love with this new iMac.

 

I’m pretty annoyed. I got my 12 mini for Christmas and the Maximum Capacity for my battery is already down to 98%

 

Yeah that’s the biggest bummer - if apple ever puts a M1-style chip in the phones then the power efficiency would be insane

Maybe unpopular opinion but I actually think 98% battery health is shockingly good for 6 months of use

is it? I mean that’s good then. I don’t really know haha. I just expected to see 100% and saw 98% and I feel like my phones been dying quicker? But idk lol.

If you actually noticed your phone dying quicker from a 2% difference, I'd be surprised.

 

These are all good things to know. This is the first iphone I’ve honestly invested in. I was rocking the 7 for a while and didn’t exactly take great care of it

 

My mini is down to 93% and I've had it about the same amount of time. Might say a lot about my usage lol.

 

My 11 Pro Max is at 87% battery health after ~21 months and approximately 8.5 hours of screen time/day. I usually toss it on a wireless charger here and there throughout the day since I've been working from home for most of that time, but it's really rare that I'm worried about it dying unless I'm doing something unusually taxing.
