Well, my leather case just broke. Can’t say I’m that bummed, never really liked it all that much. Practically impossible to flip the silent switch with popping the phone out

what are some ultra thin, minimal cases people like? Anyone have those Peel cases? Hate adding bulk but it’s also nice to get a bit of extra grip with a case

i buy this case for every phone now, it’s thin but holds up and protected my iPhone 8 for 4 years with many many drops. Plus has a nice grippy feel without sticking in your pocket

 

Wow really? My leather case for my 12 mini is a game changer. First time I’ve spent the money on one and I’m so happy with it

 

i dont want to be dramatic but i would die for apple leather cases

 

All I did was push the phone out and it snapped on both sides where the buttons are.

 

I've put an Apple leather case on each of my phones for the last uhhh 4 years and I love them. Never had an issue with any of them.

don't understand the love for the leather case. after about a month it looked gross and worn, the silent switch is too deep to be able to quickly flick it on and off. and it snapped

 

I've had a leather case on my X since release day and it's still going strong

 

Not sure if you're referring to the Saddle Brown version, but i'm the complete opposite. I love when the leather wears in a little and you get the darker patina going. The out of the box brand new leather case is my least favorite version of it.

 

same, the saddle brown was an eyesore until i wore it in haha

 

I had the California Poppy. Great out of the box, not so hot after a few months

 

ive dropped my 12 too many times and the saddle brown has gone from patina to damaged. so im switching back to my trusty smartish cases

Thinking of getting the 12 mini since there is some promo going on where I can get $100 trade in on my 8. Do folks here have the mini, and if so, like it? I have a preference for smaller phones but wasn't sure if battery was a sticking point.

I'm definitely getting the new mac, now I just need to sell my current PC to make the switch.

 

Feel like it’s not enough of a upgrade for me but definitely want that new remote
