I’ve soured on MagSafe. I can see the long-term benefit, with accessories and such, but the charger itself just doesn’t do it for me the more I think about it. For me, the cable absolutely needs to be longer to practically use the phone will it’s attached but all they have to do is a make a 6ft/10ft version to appease me. And it won’t really charge that fast, at least not nearly as fast as if just popped the cable in when needed.

The wallet doesn’t look great, and the only place I really see me using this in the short-term is that Belkin car mount they previewed. I’ll be all over that.

 

I ordered the shitty wallet too because I can't be helped LOL

 

I have two Qi chargers in the house, I'll continue to use them. It's so nice to just toss it on there and have it charge while not in use.

 

I wish more furniture would adopt the wireless charging. Imagine a desk where the entire desktop is a charger??

Just pulled the trigger on an iPhone 12 Pro and this was helpful in making the final decision on which model to get so thank ya

Looks great but lots of complaints about how prone to fingerprints that one is. I guess the gold one is the way to go to keep clean.

 

Yeah I use my big charger if I need a quick charge but my main two in the house are both Qi, including the one I use to charge at night

 

I’m worried about the black 12. White is the best to go for if wanting to avoid fingerprints or scratches but it’s not the best looking color. Difficult decisions..

 

Mines not coming till October 28th - November 2nd after the dreadful launch issues with the site and app. Oh well, I can wait a week or so.

If anyone is looking for a case I highly recommend Otterbox. I have one on my X and it has saved me quite a few times after dropping it. I took it out of the case for a clean a month ago and it still looks brand new! Easily the base case I’ve ever had.

not comfy to hold, the rims look tacky as fuck and everything feels too big. Disappointed for sure so far.

Does anyone with the 2020 iPad Pro and Apple Pencil 2 find standby drain really high when the pencil is left connected?
