I'm literally never on the home screen when using CarPlay so the wallpaper thing is pretty useless to me.

I can't wait for every app that Apple does not kiss on the forehead to totally break on this and app developers to hate this crap.

 

Nah. It'll be fine, lots of the work's already been done to recompile and transitions have happened in the past.

 

Possibly, but things like Final Cut Pro never recovered from Apple's extreme decisions on that product. It went from being the industry leading digital software to basically sidelined/second class.

 

And yet millions of people still edit video on the platform.

Anyone upset about the change to their own chips from Intel will have a different opinion in a few years time.

Performance and battery life will be such an improvement I'm sure.
