The Android app is awful. I have random pauses all the time, and it won't even play anything that got uploaded.

It's really gonna take until June to get a 5se I ordered in the middle of April.

    Please kill me.

Any blogs/podcasts people recommend for finding new apps, extensions, etc. for apple devices and such?

Alright, I have 3 artists in iTunes that have 2 entries each. I have gone through and changed every single field to be the same and they're still not sorting as one artist. What gives.

Let me know when you find out. I've noticed it especially happens if I merge two artists into one (for example, I removed "& the E Street Band" the latest Bruce Springsteen box set and it shows as one artist on my phone, but two in my iTunes. Same thing with Prince and Explosions In The Sky.

  8. Check the "sort as" screen.

@Jason Tate yeah I went through each song individually and it is still splitting them up in two. I just noticed this yesterday after I updated to the new iTunes. But for example Brand New is sorted like this:

And the "Sort As" screen still shows they're sorted by both Artist and Album Artist as the same:

It's driving me crazy haha. I appreciate your help.

Edit: Found a solution, I went through and highlighted all the songs, and changed the Artist and Album Artist field to "Brand New X" and then quit iTunes. Reopened iTunes and changed it back to "Brand New" and it worked. Weird. @thethingis

I just got my Mac back from getting the track pad fixed and now it's not booting. I really can't go another 5 days without the computer I use for all my freelance work.

iTunes shows two versions of virtually every local track I have that wasn't purchased on iTunes: the local version, not currently uploaded to iCloud, and a version from iCloud not stored locally. I can delete the iCloud tracks and upload my local ones but it's going to take a lifetime. Anybody know a better way to clean this up?

That's annoying, I haven't had that issue. I would just use the "show duplicates" option under the View menu to delete one version of each song. I'm not sure there's a better solution.

Might just do it on a per-album basis as I listen to them. I checked the duplicates tab and it's happened to thousands of tracks, no way I'm spending an afternoon selecting every other track to delete.

Trying to sync an album I just purchased onto my phone. The "music" tab won't allow me to individual check/uncheck artists like I usually do. It just says "iTunes Match on" and doesn't let me change anything. Meanwhile, I checked and iTunes Match definitely isn't on.

If I click sync, it says it sync's but the album doesn't show up on my phone.

Tried going to the album itself and clicking "add to [device]" but that didn't seem to do anything. Anybody know what might be causing this?

  19. I solved something like this a while ago by sighing out of the Apple store account, settings > store > sign out.

does anyone know if it is possible to have different art work for a record on your phone and on your itunes? I want the censored version of the album cover on my phone but would leave to keep the actual cover on my itunes

  22. Using Apple Music? Or iTunes? I would assume you could change it, sync, then change it back.

Apple Music, as soon as I change it on my computer it's going to change it on my phone bc of my iCloud music library

I may just use the alternate cover until school is over... I listen to music all of the time during my prep period, last thing I would need is some kid somehow seeing it on my phone somehow bc I was using the actual cover..

  25. Heh, I'd listen to it with the actual cover anyway. Fuck um. ;-)
