    Regular

Apple Music didn't delete the stuff I uploaded to it manually.

Still, I have zero music on my hard drive now so I'm not worrying about it.

It's probably a bug but the fact that tech support told him it's working as intended, and the fact that the software I even capable of deleting files it didn't put on your hard drive without confirmation, is a serious problem

Ugh, that's scary. I haven't had that happen, but that would be awful. Also agreed that it's troubling the software can do that.

It seems so far out there to me that I'm waiting for the "oh actually this happened" follow up and a tech support person being very badly misinformed. I can't think of any way of reason it would actually delete files without asking you ... let alone ones it just found ... There's no setting for that and when you delete files from Apple Music it asks: do you want to just delete the downloads or delete it all. Like it goes out of its way to not delete your music. This story is strange. Because that's definitely not "as intended" and I have gigs of music untouched as do millions of people ... there's gotta be something weird with this one case.

I would hope that's the case

What I find weird is isn't this exactly why Apple wants to sandbox everything?

  9. Can confirm that Apple Music deleted 100% of my Copeland music last fall, completely unprompted and without warning. Luckily I had a backup, but it was as simple as one night it was on my computer and the next morning it was gone. Have yet to read that story, gonna check it out after work, but seeing that headline gave me flashbacks hahaha.

    Might be Spider-Man...

Random Apple question; Should I get an Apple watch? My entire basis for wanting one is that I simply think it looks cool.

I dunno, haha, really depends on how you'd use it. I personally don't have a need for one

  12. I'd wait at this point since it's already May, and I'd be guessing some kind of update is coming before year's end.

I have one, it's nice but I need to really set it up but haven't gotten around to it.

I agree, wait. The next gen will hopefully be a lot better. I've read some opinion pieces lately that say Apple should scale back the utility of the watch and I agree. I don't need to run a million apps, I'd prefer it just be an awesome notification/quick info check system. For that, it's excellent.

I'll be with you the whole way.

Does anyone know which devices might get updates this year apart from the Watch? Would love some new iPods.

Yeah I thought about that, I have no idea what the improvements are supposed to be so ill probably pause on it

The only iPod ever getting updates at this point is the iPod touch. Everything else is done where it is with maybe some new colors.

I can't believe people are still believing this shit.

How do you change your subscription to the student discount? I'm not seeing the option anywhere.

It's not available there, just shows me my current subscription and the Family option.

Other people have had luck there. Maybe you're seeing a cached version.
