Drag and Drop Apps for iPad Now Widely Rolling Out on App Store

 

One thing that really irks me is the iPad Pro’s ability to play HDR video in iOS 11, but no ability to play higher than 1080p.

 

Is it really possible that the update cleared up almost 20gbs on my 6S Plus? I can't remember for sure but I thought I had 50-51gbs used before I upgraded and now I'm at 32gbs. Nothing seems to be missing though.

I might just be able to get away with the 64gb X after all.

 

I’m pretty sure video and picture sizes were cut in half with the new formatting...maybe that?

 

Anyone else wonder what happened to the Night shift feature?

Hmmm I know for me it popped up a message asking if I wanted to share my profile. Do you have iCloud music library turned on? And I can only assume you subscribe to Apple Music?

 

“Messages, Inbox” in big letters is a bit annoying.

just double checked to make sure I was subscribed and I am. also have iCloud music turned on and then turned it off/on. I never saw that pop up, ever. now I’m just poking around in the settings hoping something happens.

 

What is it you’re looking for?

 

Something is weird then. My wife, who said no to the sharing message, has the ability to click on “Share my profile” on the same account screen you posted earlier. Also, the account page like that in iOS 11 has a big bold “Account” text at the top that your page does not.

Man it feels great to have a recent files folder on my home screen. iOS is good stuff on the iPad.

 

Probably a long shot, but if anyone has an extra 42mm Pride band they don't want, I'll gladly take it off your hands. I ended up waiting WAY too long to get one (I know...I'm dumb...) and missed out. Going to call some Apple stores tomorrow around my area to see if they have any stock but I'm not too hopeful.

I absolutely hate the big stupid letters everywhere. Hated it on Apple Music, and now it's in my email inbox and just everywhere...so annoying. That said, I'm sold on the notifications and control center, and scrolling on Safari feels way better.

 

so weird. I got a notification that you followed me but when I tap on it I get this error message.

 

to add to that, hold it down if you're on a pre 3d touch device. good catch, dude.

 

Tried signing out of your Apple ID yet and back in? Do the rest of the Apple Music features look like iOS 11?

 

High Sierra will convert all SSD drives to APFS.

I back up on a spinning disk external drive using Super Duper! every night and also to a Time Capsule over the network (which I think is a spinning disk too). Does anyone know how that will work? Or if it will?

 

iOS 11 is great. Have been loving it on the iPad, and it’s great to have the social elements of Apple Music on my phone.

The “Friends Are Listening To” feature reminds me of seeing Hayley Williams listening to Trapped Under Ice on Rdio back in the day. Hahaha.

Upgraded iOS 11 to the phone. Looks/feels good. Few little changes I'll have to get used to, but seems solid.

 

Safari scrolling is freaking me out.
