Does anyone have exprience with pre-ordering through Best Buy? I pre-ordered the Apple TV 4K through them since I had some coupons, but I have yet to get an update. It said I’d get it by Friday, but I kind of thought it may ship out by now.

Maybe I’m just used to how pre-ordering through Apple works where they start to ship like a week in advance and it doesn’t move until the day before.

 

tvOS11 update is very minimal really. The new sports feature should be in TV app, auto-switch between light/dark modes, home screen sync ... that’s really it. TV is all about the new hardware this year.

I’ve said it like 30 times before, but iOS 11 on iPad (specifically iPad Pro) is an absolute game-changer.

 

how is the new social feature in apple music?

 

Still no Prime Video app though...

 

Very basic, which is great.

 

And you can easily edit Live Photos.

I just clicked on the Tips app do get an idea of the main updates.

 

Anyone ios11 on 6S yet? Always scared of crippling the speed of this thing, still on 9 rn

 

Seems to be running fine on my 6S Plus.

 

My 6S was noticeably faster on 10 than 9.

I won't upgrade the phone to 11 until later tonight, need it today. But the iPad Air 2 runs great on 11.

 

Anyone having issues with watchOS 4? In the watch app it's stuck in a "waiting to install..." state. When I try to force the install I get, "Unable to Install Update - An error occurred installing the latest version of watchOS on your Apple Watch," with no further details. I've restarted both the phone and watch. Watch is also 100% charged and on the charger...

 

What happened to sending money via iMessage?

 

I read on macrumors that its coming in an imessage app later this fall. Was hoping it was just built in.

 

At least my mom is liking the update, or at least I guess that’s what she’s trying to say.

 

how are you seeing it? all I see when I click on my avatar in the For You section is account info. I'm doing something wrong.

 

Have you tried to force close the app via multitasking then reopen it? You should see something like below if you have it set up.

 

yup, force closed and restarted my phone and still seeing the same thing. super strange. I've even click on Jason's music profile link and I get an error message.

 

Have you upgraded? That looks like the old version. Also think you gotta say yes to sharing your music.

 

Had to un-pair and re-pair the watch to my phone to get the upgrade to work. Fun stuff.

on iOS11 since the second public beta and went to the GM last week. also have "Use Listening History" turned on in the Music settings. I even have the notifications turned on for when friends start following me. this was all I wanted in Apple Music and it's not giving it to me!!

 

Awesome stuff for sure.

 

So can we search for people by username on Apple Music?

I'm making some Top 10 playlists of some bands/artists and will post weekly playlists (workout, jogging, studying, chilling, fall, winter, etc)
