For those buying the iPhone X, are you planning on Space Gray or Silver?

I was originally set on Space Gray, but Silver looks pretty great too.

 

The only reason I didn't buy a silver 6S was because I didn't like the white bars/home button so now that those are gone I definitely want a silver X.

 

Trying to convince myself not to get an X but the more I hear about it the more I want it! I'm so glad they brought space grey back. I have space grey everything else and I want all of my products to be the same color haha

 

Done in under 3 minutes. So much easier than last year.

Damn the notch does make websites landscape (have to say I never view sites like this) quite ugly.

Apple’s iPhone X notch is an odd design choice

 

I'm definitely leaning towards the silver right now. Just based off the mockup images on Apple's site (which could differ when I actually got it), but I'm really liking the way the glass back looks with the silver verses the Space Gray.

 

Granted take this with a grain of salt, but I read somewhere that Apple could be potentially wanting the notch to be the feature that differentiates it from other phones, kind of like what the home button used to do. I do like the way the mockup looks in that article, but would assume a lot of people would be comparing it to the S8 had they went that way.

 

I see the notch becoming what the flat tire was for the moto360 - many hated it at first, but over time you stopped noticing it. Eventually moto just embraced it.

 

So is it not hard to get an iPhone 8?

 

How easy it wa stop get and 8 makes me really concerned about getting an X.

 

Nope. Everybody wants the X I guess.

I like how it looks overall in portrait mode. Need to see what video etc is like in landscape. I'm just not sure how I feel about the curved corners yet though.

 

Is anyone here sold on the new watch? I was hoping for more on the homepod...damn way too many Apple products I want!

 

the photos on the new iphone 8/x are stunning. Portrait mode looks really nice.

 

I just want a sport loop band and even those are currently sold out.

 

I could order an iphone 8 right now and I would get it day 1. Yeah, getting an X is gonna be a nightmare.

 

Sitting here thinking about it. The X is geared towards the people who are ordering day 1 for the newest phone. The 8 is now geared towards the person who is getting a new phone because it's their upgrade cycle or their old one doesn't work anymore

 

Trying to decide if I want to upgrade to the 8 Plus from a 6. I just don't know if I would like the size of the Plus. But getting more storage and better battery life certainly sounds appealing. I always get hyped for new Apple products so idk. Probably going to do the TV since I am still on a second generation and it is starting to work a little spotty by just dropping the program I'm watching and re-boot.

 

If the 8 had the same camera as the 8 Plus i'd just get the 8 now but that is not the case, and I couldn't handle a phone as big as the Plus so I wait for the X

 

I do like the size of the X. That seems to be a good compromise on size and functionality.

 

Thought this interview was pretty interesting. Makes you wonder what they're actively working on for three years down the road.

Was very anti-Plus model phones since their inception right up until last year and I haven't looked back.
