Everyone I know who turned to Samsung because they said iPhone always had problems, eventually came back to iPhone a year later saying Samsung was crap. Except my brother, he seems to have joined the dark side for good.

Is it no longer possible to use the genius function for playlists on your iPhone?

Still haven't gotten a shipped email. I'm dying inside. Don't make me wait till May, Apple. I beg of you.

Anyone have a nylon band for their Apple Watch? If so, have you worked out with it? I'm trying to find another band bc the stock silicone band likes to move all over my wrist when it gets sweaty.

My 2011 iMac is officially dead. I don't know what to do, as I realllllly do not want to go months without a computer, but I don't know that I should buy a brand new iMac when the refresh is likely right around the corner. MBP is tempting, but I think I'd really miss the screen real estate as my computer functions as my TV as well.

That was me. I got pissed off at the battery life of my 5 and in an impulse got a Samsung. Turned that in within the 2 weeks because it was awful. Ended up with an HTC one until the iphone 6 was released. The worst mistake ever. Never again will I leave Apple. I should have known better.

I've had (and read about) lots of weird problems with Amazon over Airplay... your best bet may be to have another HDMI cable handy and try plugging your MacBook right into the TV.

Magnet is pretty amazing if you tend to work with a lot of windows at the same time. You can just drag windows into different corners of your screen to automatically position + size them. If you have a large display, it works wonders for keeping stuff organized for easy switching!

I've used this before! I hadn't been using it too much, though so I think I ended up deleting it when I went through and got rid of apps I wasn't using.

My dad is type 2 so this would be amazing to help him regulate his sugars.

If I could just forget it

The key will be getting the cost down to actually put a sensor in a watch. It's also extremely difficult to develop lasers at the correct wavelength to do this sort of detection. It will be super interesting to see what they've come up with.

Listening to a podcast upstairs while my phone is charging. Run downstairs to get something and come back up without having to take my phone with me. Love AirPods.

I kept thinking it was surely going to cut out at any moment, and it never did. These things are awesome.

Finally got AirPods. They are AWESOME. My only complaint is that I can't help but feel like they could have found some way to incorporate volume control without Siri; i.e., sliding up and down on one of the stems, etc.

Sliding up and down on one of the stems would have been insanely cool.

I mean I know nothing about creating technology, product development, etc. but it seems like they could have done something to incorporate volume control, like, only make the Siri tapping work on one AirPod and slide for volume on the other one or something like that. One thing I read that I agree with is that it would be cool if the next version (AirPods 2?) somehow had some kind of cloud based or internal memory so it could be Siri activated and you could go running/exercise/etc. without your phone. Maybe the charging case could have buttons on it or something as an additional way to skip songs, control volume, etc. like on those old iPod Nanos?

Also, as a side note, I can't be he only one that doesn't get the criticism of the appearance of AirPods, right? I really don't think they look dumb at all. They pretty much look like regular Apple EarBuds without the wire. I think maybe the appearance is just going to take getting used to for some until fully wireless earbuds become normal?

i said something similar dozens of pages ago. i find the criticism baffling; we've been looking at almost the exact same thing for like a decade already. meanwhile people need 2 hands to hold their gigantic phones and that somehow looks ok.

also i like that idea of siri on one bud and volume on the other. if i was designing these i think volume would've been the first or second thing i'd want a gesture for.
