I feel like mine is slowly failing. I'm constantly having to restart it because it won't recognize chargers. Is his a problem anyone else is having with the 6 or is it just mine?

are they apple certified chargers or off-brand?

One is a Amazon Basic that if I read correctly was Apple certified. The other is some cord I bought at Walmart years ago so I'm not sure. Thought it was verified but can't remember.

I also previously had issues with an Apple cord.

I love my navy blue leather apple case. The only thing is I would like to clean it. I've used it so much that it's kinda slick and not as grippy as it used to be.

Can't wait to see what the iPhone 8 is gonna be about. I try to upgrade every other year since the 3G

If I could just forget it

Take it in anyways and explain the problem. I feel like they might be able to do something about it, especially if it's only a year old.

With my 5 I always had an Otterbox case but I never put the sticky screen protector on because I think it's useless. With my 6S I had a red leather case for a little while, but it always got black stains on it so I stopped using it and decided to go caseless. Now I just need to get the battery replaced.

yay my battery is in, getting the replacement on sunday
time to figure out whether it's a battery issue or a charger issue haha

Lucky, I requested a new battery a week and a half ago.

Super stoked it'll be like a brand new phone tho.

Be kind; everyone is on their own journey.

Clean out the lint...I literally went into a Sprint store explaining my issue with charger not working unless I get the angle just right, and also that I was starting to have issues with my headphone jack. The guy pulled out a pair of super skinny tweezers and pulled about 12 oz. of lint from both. Felt like a moron, and there were people in line that clapped as I left. haha I now proceed to clean mine out with a paper clip periodically and all is good...

That happened to me on my last apple. Took it in and he used a pin to pull out like 3/4 inches of lint. Worked perfect after it was removed. Such a ridiculous issue that I wish I fixed on my own.

i've had a ton of problems finding a good long charger: any recommendations for a good working 10 ft lightning cable?

I like my Native Union cable. Expensive, but I like it. It's also Apple certified.

I just picked all the stuff out of my lighting port. I was shocking how much stuff was in there.

It was distressing to me. Like it seemed like more was in there than could reasonably fit.

Those cases are the biggest rip off. They age terribly and provide no protection. Purely aesthetic and unbelievably overpriced for what they cost to make. Will never buy one again.

I have an otterbox screen protector that I got at a discounted price, and i've already dropped my 7 twice where I was afraid to pick it up and find a cracked screen. there isn't a single mark on my screen cover so that was a good purchase. But yeah, the otterbox cases are too bulky for me. Definitely worthwhile cases and do the job, I just love the slim feeling of this phone and being able to see the jet black color.
