Yeah, also because it's cosmetics only it doesn't really matter either way

 

I’ve been thinking about it and they do have micro transactions that amount to even less than 99 cents per cosmetic item. The loot boxes. If I had to bet I’d say that is how they make most of their money too. Replacing those randomized micro transactions with transparent micro transactions might mean less money in the short run, but it might also lead to a lot of goodwill, which often leads to more money.

Also I’m open to the idea of banning those kind of loot boxes anyway, like some places did. That would take away the possible competitive disadvantage of not offering them. It would have to be big ass markets though for it to work across the board.

There’s something to that. I sometimes feel embarrassed when people see me playing that game because I play Loba lol

 

Loba, Lifeline and Horizon are my current mains, but I'm starting to pivot to my boy, the one and only synthetic nightmare... uh I forgot his name.

 

Might play some this weekend, I've been using Bloodhound and Bangalore

 

Yeah Octane is the only non starter character I’ve unlocked. If I had to choose one more this weekend who should it be? I usually just switch between Bloodhound, Bangalore, and Octane.

Honestly anyone except for Crypto lol He's like fun in a weird way but also kinda useless. I might just suck though.

The good thing about Crpyto is that the drone can pick up banners and respawn

I unlocked Crypto and I think I maybe played 1 game with him. I wish I hadn't. Now i want to unlock Horizon and don't have the coins.

 

and also can revive teammates instantly with the drone. Drone can also scan the survey beacons. He is not really a bad legend per se but very situational and he can be used best with a pre-made squad.

Aren't Legend tokens extremely easy to gain? I'm always surprised when I hear people talk about only having one or two characters unlocked.

 

Yeah like I said he’s cool in a way, but also most people, including me, don’t use him well lol

 

Well they aren't too hard to unlock IF you're playing the game. I haven't played much in the last 4 or 5 months

 

I had 1,5 legends unlocked after 20 hours.
