Was not expecting a collection of loosies, it's alright so far. A lot I won't go back to. 3am is my favorite thus far.

 

A new least favorite AG album.

 

It's fun, obviously a B-sides album so hard to be disappointed

 

I just randomly thought about “dear child” which I don’t even like associate with what I consider his solo career to be anymore. Like bands undergo dramatic shifts all the time but as a solo act he’s really undergone some big changes I think. Not saying it’s bad either boom done is some of his best work. But lots of artists with main bands don’t consistently release solo stuff as much as he does

 

Yeah, as I mentioned the album is weird as hell, but it's clearly a b-sides/demos/remixes/etc album so it's not a big deal

 

LS Dunes is the closest thing to his "main band" right now. Cove is basically the main Saosin guy again, and until Circa Survive decides to be a band again... I feel like Anthonys solo stuff is the most we'll hear from him overall.

 

3am is about the only thing I enjoyed from this

 

Even for a loosies situation, I'm out. I really did not expect Ant to lose me so much these past few years. Besides Apeshit and Boom. Done, I'm not connecting to anything he's putting out. I didn't fully realize how much Circa specifically was the lynchpin of my fandom for him.

 

This is an extremely confusing post. Boom Done and Apeshit are the two most recent releases from him, but he lost you recently? That doesn't match up at all haha

 

Probably referring to LS Dunes and Doom Spun

Aside from Fuckin Whatever, Doom Spun is my least favorite release of his since Lover, the Lord Has Left Us, but it’s fine. Doom Spun is clearly just a compilation album of sorts and an extension of Boom Done to me than any sort of official album

Sadly, hard agree. Nothing else is working for me, although I do love everything he has done with Saosin.

 

Sharon Tate is honestly a top tier Anthony song across all the projects

Dig these tracks, ordered the vinyl. Been listening to Avalon a ton lately, album always reminds me of the summer it came out
