im a huge durarara fan. the later seasons have their issues but for the most part if you enjoyed season 1 i see no reason why you shouldnt like these later ones.

 

Awesome to see another fan! I’m sure I’ll be super into it then. What are the issues that come up or would that contain too many spoilers?

 

it gets a little convoluted since it introduces a lot more characters, particularly theres this mafia plotline thats a bit hard to follow. also a certain character's arc which is super important in the last seasons ends up being sort of underwhelming.

 

the ending for food wars! was just really rough. damn.

 

Just a few eps into seasons 2 and damn yeah there’s quite a lot of new characters. Still getting used to the new art style as well. Izaya in particularly looks a bit weird? The facial changes just seem to not sit well with me in places. My understanding is a different studio did the second season and you can definitely tell with the narrative and style.

 

rightstuf is having a big manga sale rn. i bought a pretty big haul. if you havent gotten around to komi or chainsaw man i would look to getting those, some of the best series running rn.

also anyone seen jujutsu kaisen yet? ive enjoyed the first couple of episodes, this will probably shine more as the fights get more intense and theres some cool ones coming up.

 

komi is great.

 

I've enjoyed Jujustu. I like that it just gets right to it. It doesn't drag. Right off the bat it's interesting and there's story and action all at once. Very nicely paced so far.

I’ve been really enjoying Yashahime: Princess Half Demon.

Decided to follow along, even though I haven’t finished Inuyasha yet. It was just way too tempting to jump onto a new Rumiko Takahashi series from the start, especially since it’s free to watch on my phone (as long as I don’t mind ads & being a week late, which, I don’t). Takahashi is just... the best.

As much as I love Kagome & Inuyasha, I could see Towa settling in as my favorite character in this world.

 

My app has always worked great. It's 1000 times better than Funimation's absolutely shit app.

 

crunchy roll app is so bad on Xbox like it constantly logs me out and then I gotta wait like five minutes for it to log me back in

 

and then even after that, it sometimes will refuse to load the most recent episode of something until you go and play an older one.

 

I feel like I should have made the connection a lot sooner, but this week's MHA chapter caught me off good. Excited to see where it's going.
