I think if you're watching dubbed on Crunchyroll the subtitles don't appear even if they're technically on

 

I hate that Crunchyroll clips on YouTube automatically dub and if you're on mobile on the website, there's no way to turn it off. Sucks.

 

This is a head scratcher …

latest episode on Netflix now is 516 and tomorrow’sepisode is 1089. Are they going to drop 500+ episodes before then.

 

Ahh gotcha! I would’ve assumed the whole show was on Netflix so I wasn’t sure what was going on.

Perhaps they don’t have the license for that second half of episodes yet, but maybe do have the license for current and future arcs? Weird regardless but I feel like that’s probable at least.

 

Kakegurui xx: so far I haven't really liked the new characters they introduced this season. I do like that we're getting more Runa and Ririka. Other than that it's just more of the same, which I'm totally fine with. I love watching how unhinged Yumeko gets

finished Kakegurui xx, the last two episodes apparently aren't in the manga, and the two before that were supposed to take place in the manga equivalent of season one. sooo while I did enjoy the "filler" finale, nothing felt very final about it. here's hoping it gets another season and another couple of killer opening/ending theme songs.

ah fuck it looks like i can't watch s2 of Devil is a Part Timer and Spy x Family on Crunchyroll without paying for Premium. oh well, i guess i did wanna catch up on my dvd/bluray backlog anyway

I keep watching reactions to Todo’s imagination scene. It’s even better when the person has read the manga because there’s no reason to expect that they’d diverge from it so significantly

 

I did not have a Dorohedoro S2 announcement on my 2024 bingo card but hell fuckin yeah. One of my favorites from the past few years.

 

Just finished watching My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 with my wife and we both really enjoyed it. It's a bit of a different take on a romcom and the art style was really nice as well. Hope we get a season 2.

Not a huge anime dude, love some random ones aside from the normal toonami ones (Gundam, DBZ etc). I love Evangelion, and RahXephon.

Just watched Edgerunners since I'm a big Cyberpunk fan and damn that was really good.

 

Between that, Castlvania, and Arcane, Netflix is killing it with quality video game anime

 

Can’t wait for the Devil May Cry anime

 

Started watching the Apothecary Diaries, really liking it. The main character is great. Airing for two consecutive cours, I think 13 episodes have aired so far
