I started reading HunterxHunter a few days ago and I just got to chapter 50. Addicting stuff.

Probably should be posting this in the video game thread, but Demon Slayer is getting a Mario Party-esque game for Switch. No U.S. release date yet though

 

Release date for the final episode of Attack on Titan was apparently leaked. It’ll be November 4th

 

Curious how long it'll be. They have 5 chapters left (or 6 if they're including the bonus) and most of it is action. Everyone felt the manga ending was rushed, so you would think they'll try to expand it somewhat.

 

Expand it to another season.

They added Yu Yu Hakusho to the shonen jump app, so it looks like I’ll finally be reading that after that being my favorite anime my whole life

I’ve been waiting for them to add “vault chapters” to read with the membership. Before, you could only read it if you bought the individual digital volumes.

 

Today I learned that Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying, and Komori-san Can't Decline take place in the same universe, and Peach Boy Riverside is a prequel to all of them.

 

Decided to give Jujutsu Kaiser a shot. The action is kind of boring to me but I love how goofy it is

 

Is that the food-based spin-off where the protagonist is made of bread?

so how far along is the JJK anime compared to the manga

 

The Shibuya Incident just started.

 

oh i meant like in terms of how many chapters left until it’s caught up with the manga lol

the suspense for the shibuya arc and it’s ending are killing me

Sorry, I didn't know if the question was a literal "when".

 

The anime is now at around chapter 90 or so, which mean there’s like 40-50 chapter left of the Shibuya arc. It’s only just begun, you have no idea lol

Then there’s a single huge arc after that which I assume will be all of s3, up through around chapters 200-215 maybe? Imo there’s a clear *best* spot for the end of s3, but it would require it likely being a decent bit longer than the other seasons so idk when they actually will cut it off.

And the manga is currently at 235 and nearing the end of the single biggest 1-on-1 fight of the series up to this point. It’s literally been nothing but this fight for like 12 chapter straight lol. Genuinely no idea where it’s going to go after this but they’re clearly nearing the endgame
