I've noticed *very sporadic* shooting stars when i've had Celeste on my island, but to the point where I see one when I'm doing something else, and then none more pop up when I'm ready :/

 

Nana wanted me to change her catchphrase which was “po po.”

I added 2 letters and turned her into Magnitude

 

hahah i have nana too and i always thought po po was a bit strange

 

it’s crazy how quickly the catchphrases propagate throughout the village. Everyone in my island are now saying “bear down” all the time. Originally it’s just something random that I really wanted Sylvia to say.

 

"praise Jesus" is spreading through my island lol

 

lmao you just introduced religion to AC.

 

So today I got the wild log bench diy in the morning from a villager, then I got the same one in a bottle, now I just got a third one from another villager. Same recipe 3 times in one day

The next time someone requests a catchphrase, I am putting in “fat dog” haha.

My town tune is also Daybreak and it’s still so damn catchy. My wife hums it more than her town tune (which is the Midsommar tune)

 

Lmao that's amazing, Daybreak is my new goal. I already have the Greendale butthole flag at my plaza and airport

 

i just found it somewhere. it sounds so much better when it starts getting remixed into the town music (like starting convos).

i wasn’t planning on making my island so heavy on the references but that show just makes so many funny bits that don’t really feel too far off from what AC neighbors actually say.

 

i would probably will start using bojack quips too, once I start remembering them.

rewatching bojack while playing AC is just a perfect combination

 

Ok so now I just saw two shooting stars but no Celeste and no mention of a meteor shower.

and also gotta complain one more time that I haven’t had flick or CJ in weeks but I get the damn wisp like 4 times a week

I just went to the pier with some fish bait ready to try to get a Mahi Mahi or Giant Trevally. I was having no success but there was a fish shadow down the beach in the distance bothering me, so I walk down to get it out of the way, and it's a Barreleye. What the heck. The best fish come when I'm least expecting them.

 

The worst character in the show.

 

i would say it’s Pierce. Chang is hit or miss for me, but some of his jokes really make me laugh.

im on S6 of my rewatch and scene where Abed and Francesca are talking in the study room and Chang tries to insert himself in the conversation by contributing nonsense is really funny to me

 

Pierce is amazing because he gives all the other characters so much material.
