So question, I don’t currently have a plot of land being built. If I travel will there not be villagers? Do I basically have to build the plot and then grind all day for someone I want? In that order?

 

yeah i think new prospects only appear on other islands if you have land available for them or possibly someone confirmed moving out?

Went to my sister-in-law's island last night because she had a meteor shower, made out like a bandit on star fragments, plus picked up some fruit and flowers I didn't have.... I was then disconnected off, which I didn't think much of... so I saved and put the game away... then discovered this afternoon none of the stuff I gathered came with me!

tl;dr - if anyone's island has a meteor shower soon, I would be very grateful to visit lol
