i have held out from listening to Nobody Tells You so far. So, I didn’t listen to it here and I did not listen to Last Rites here either. 6 more days!

Mmm oh yea, those North deep cuts always hit so good.

 

I was lucky enough to hear it when I travelled for the Carriage House shows in CA back in 2017. Such a perfect song.

 

Forgot how soon this comes out! Nice!

 

The whole album will be played at the shows this weekend. Sets for the full tour will be 90-120 minutes.

He is hoping the vinyl for the new album to be in between May and July.

Oh yea, I forgot. They practiced Crashin’, Halls, and Amy, I this week for the tour.

 

This album is very pleasant. Not a ton that is WOW GREAT, but it is all OK NICE. Ya know? Andrew doing straightforward Andrew

 

I’ve only heard most of the album once now. Stars and Lying On The Hood are two I’ve listened to quite a bit, I think they’re both great. Need more time with the others, especially the ones I have only heard once last night. Smoke & Ribbons, Little Disaster, and Nobody Tells You are ones I’m looking forward to diving into more.

 

Haven’t been able to listen yet. How much piano-fronted songs are there? That’s always been the material of his I gravitate to the most and one of the reasons i’ve had a harder time connecting to In The Wilderness stuff

 

This is far more Zombies on Broadway than it is Upside Down Flowers. In fact one song is from the Zombies sessions.

Darn. I’ll always support him and i’ll be sure to listen, but not my favorite of his styles. I wish he’d lean further into the realm of Billy/Elton. There should be more of that in the world haha.

 

Submarine. He never did a proper recording of it then, but the song was fully written during that time.

 

Oh, I forgot. He said that there are plans to do a companion EP for this album. Like the Canyons EP with the self titled album.

 

Andrew going full Billy Joel -- an artist that he's said is a hero of his -- would be amazing. I'll take Andrew doing any era of Billy.

 

I think this album is really pleasant, I didn’t really listen to the singles but on first listen Submarine is a real stand out
