Feels a lot more developed than the last record but not sure how much I like it, esp the vocal melodies don’t do much for me

Yeah, immediately this is one of my favorite things he's put out under the A&B name. Perfect balance between the indie rock/pop of Quiet Life and the electronic 80's vibes of Songs for me. I absolutely love this.

Not sure how I feel about it.
I still play Felt all the time and I’m honestly holding out for Felt II to come out. Think this will grow on me more than his last album though

 

That vinyl tho. The split variant matches the artwork quite satisfyingly.

is it controversial to say that Songs For The Late Night Drive Home is the best A&B album?

 

Personally I think a case could be made for all 3. Three solid outputs.

 

I like Eventful Horizons a lot. Dangerous was pretty good.

 

Man, that chorus on Eventful Horizons is the most Anberlin-y thing I’ve heard since Anberlin broke up. I love it.

 

Best song so far. I like this one.
