Big Ears music festival posted some artist additions today, which included A Winged Victory, Fennesz, and Nivhek. I'm ecstatic about all three.

I thought Hammock’s last one was their best in some time, so I’m looking forward to giving Silencia a listen.

 

I liked Universalis (Everything and Nothing is also great) but I haven't been in love with anything from them since Departure Songs. This new one just hits different tho.

 

Ya the new Hammock is spellbinding. I love it.

Been coming back to that Theodore Cale Scheifer album a lot this week. Beautiful stuff.

Gonna catch up on ambient albums today. Started with Ilyas Ahmed's new one. He's collaborated with Grouper and Golden Retriever--and is a member of the post-rock/instrumental band Grails.

 

Tis v good. Big fan of Geographic North as of late.

 

Geodaddi by Boards of Canada is a wonderful album yall. So many great memories to this. I remember back when i started smoking and me and my friend were listening to this. Julie and Candy came on and he thought it was extra trippy so i tried convincing him he was asleep and it was a dream. He was nearly persuaded before my sober friend told me to stop lmao
