Well Alex said that even if they stop short of a full SWIR tour, they're going to acknowledge the anniversary somehow on upcoming tours, so I'm sure the medley is how they plan to do that. Keep in mind that set wasn't very long - apart from the medley it looks like 17 songs? ATL will be doing 20-22 I'd guess on this tour, so I think they'll have the medley at the very least, cut maybe 1 Future Hearts song, I doubt they'll keep Canals for the whole tour. So there's definitely room.

    Things have changed.

UK setlist is pretty bland. Hope the US one is better.

Just saw this and did a double take...my friend from high school's little brother is in The Wrecks and I had no idea they were this level of band lol.

Bought tickets for Portland today. Really hoping we get some SWIR and earlier on the setlist. Bums me out they don't play Coffee Shop Soundtrack anymore.

you all have some weird and unrealistic expectations, haha. for the tour on this it'll probably be like 7 or 8 songs off this new album, like 4 or 5 off the last one, with room for like 5 or 6 others

That's probably true for this tour, but it's straight out of Alex's mouth that they plan to at least recognize SWIR this year. Whether it's a medley on this tour, they're going to play more songs from it on this tour, or they have something else planned entirely, I don't know. It's not unrealistic expectations though when the band themselves are the ones who set the expectation.

well yeah, but in that case it's playing maybe two or three songs instead of just one or so? the medley seems the most realistic expectation. asking for more than that is wishful thinking

Wishful thinking or not, I'm still holding out hope haha. As a long time fan of this band, I hate that they play next to nothing from their first releases.

i mean it's pretty stylistically different from their newer stuff, especially their newest stuff. not to mention a lot of current fans of the band may not be aware of the earlier stuff, plus the band has played some of those songs so many times that they're probably sick of these songs they wrote when they were super young

i mean i saw this band play 10 songs from SWIR in 2008, i know what you mean, but still, haha

I agree the medley is the most probable scenario. It's not infrequent that they play Six Feet Under or Remembering Sunday, so they have to do something more than just those. I could also see them doing like a throwback tour or something (not quite an anniversary tour, but something along the lines of the My Small Package tour, but I'd say it's like 50/50. I don't think we'd see a full tour either, but like 5 to 10 dates in major markets. I don't know, you're not wrong it is a lot of wishful thinking, and I can't blame them for pushing forward. I'd rather not see those old songs live anymore than have the band become stagnant and start to fade away, so I'll obviously respect whatever they do.

This tour has waaay too many bands. And I can't believe with this lineup it's playing House of Blues, Anaheim and not The Grove.

    Things have changed.

All Time Low has generally had three openers since ... a decade ago?

I'd argue 2 openers is the best scenario, 1 opener is nice especially on weeknights, 3 openers is a lot but still fair in my opinion. No openers is weird too. I'm not a fan of that.

I thought it was a (5) bill lineup with both SWMRS and Night Riots.

that would have been one of the worst shows ever, a 5 hour show with zero good openers? oooof

I don't know about the others, but Waterparks puts on a really great show. Even if you aren't into their music I think you'll enjoy their set.
