I’ve always interpreted it as different seasons of life and how sometimes they don’t always line up like we want them to.

 

Yeah, and the song specifically to me seems about that conflicted, jumping back and forth, and not being able to make life changing decisions. Money, comfort in the place you currently are, seasons of life etc. Whatever people use to decide one thing or the other.

 

This record is still good.

I assume this means they listened to me the other day when they asked what we want to hear on the tour (that isn’t even coming near me) and are going to be playing Time and Place. Cool.
