Mixed reactions on All Get Out always confuses me.

I love it all. Heh.

 

I'll send you the CD the moment I get it for $12 lol. I have zero uses for the CD and feel bad they are wasting it on me. The only "CD player" I have is a PS4. Actually I'm not even sure if that has a music player built in.

 

I totally want that cool looking record though.

Ugh.

 

Probably why I like it. I’m not really into Movement like most of the folks here seem to be, so I’m not really itching for anything heavy.

 

Preorder comes with "However Long" as well, by the way.

I liked it, so if thats the only song you don't like on the album, I'm down. I mean I'm on board already, but I own every AGO/Hussey record already so why stop now?

The last three out of four songs are emotional, and HL breaks the mood by seeming out of place. I like this song, but those last three tracks get the most playtime for me and HL’s placement is very incongruous.

 

Interesting. I think "However Long" is pretty emotional in its own right, but I think I can understand what you're saying even without hearing those songs.

Now I'm going to try and forget this information so I don't let it color my first impression of the album.

 

Goddammit. Finally got to look at the preorders and I have to have that flower shirt but the bundle with just it and the record is a CD. Guess I’m dropping $60 and forgetting to mention it to my wife...

Edit: whoops never mind I like the hoodie better and it’s $10 cheaper.

What a song!! It’s such a difference from No Bouquet (obviously) but his voice sounds so good! The whole album / project / whatever it is exactly is filled with great artists.

 

how's no bouquet sitting with everyone? Still one of my favorite albums of 2018!

 

I liked it quite a bit at first, but now I’m LOVING it. It’s gotten better for me with each listen, it’s been getting lots of play because I feel I can put it on for any mood.

 

Anyone got any clue what The Season is about? I fucking love that song (and album)
