I have not seen this in a very long time. It was so familiar at first I was sure it must be recorded somewhere, but I think that's just because I've watched it so many times.

Also, it's probably on Rucker's broken computer.

they played me and my lovers for the first time (or probably one of the first times) at that show too.

It is not, but apparently I had 2 versions of TRYSA at one point. Whoops.

Apparently there’s one demo, one acoustic and one recorded at Manchester’s studio.

Full band demo?? Don’t think I’ve ever heard that. I just have the acoustic one from myspace

I was told that it was fully recorded at the time of the Season.

On another note, they ended with Season when they played in KC, and the lead singer of Microwave happened to be there and joined them to sing the final part, then they threw their equipment, it was intense.

    Sounds expensive.

  13. Holy shit this band is good live. “Room To Talk” was unreal, with the heavier bridge and interpolating a bit of “January 1979.” Probably the best show I’ve seen this year, even if I wanted to hear more from NLAQ.

Also, they’re all so nice. They said a bunch of nice things about my band (we opened the show tonight), and geeked about guitar amps with me.

Ya, Nathan is a very kind person.

I always thought it was neat when Nathan used to do partial Brand New covers (obviously that is no longer neat) during soundcheck when I first started going to see them.

I would shit if they covered BIYM in full, though. I fucking miss that band.

Also, don’t forget to check out the MIGHTY record that dropped today, everyone!

The last three times I’ve seen them warm up they’ve done Pedro the Lion’s Options.

So these guys are opening a The Story So Far & Citizen tour in the UK in Autumn. Can anyone give me a RIYL for these?

I’m not saying I have it.

I drove Nate to the venue and listened to it with him and holy shit is it good.

    Microwave, Manchester Orchestra, Black Foxxes.

If you’re just looking for a quick taster, listen to the Movement EP. It’s a short five songs and definitely some of their best material
