Yeah, Gordon is back in Charleston bartending.

 

From what Rucker said, (I think) Nate and the drummer are the only crossover personnel from Movement.

 

So the guys in the Audiotree session aren't in the full band anymore? Or are they the ones that are?

 

Song is pretty solid. Not blown away by it, but looking forward to the rest of the record.

 

Son of mine, let me go, and come and gone are supposed to be a continuing narrative right? Anyone have any idea what they're about?

 

A fictional alcoholic/drug addled father and his interaction with his wife and son?

 

That's how I've always interpreted it

 

I was thinking something like that. Didn't know if the songs switched perspectives or not tho

 

Let me go is from the mom's point of view I think.

And yeah, I always got the impression that Let Me Go was from the mother/wife.

 

Ohhhh hadn't thought of that

 

I think Son of Mine is about the dad going to rehab and desperately wanting out.
