On first listen, "ATX," "Wait List," and "Chasing Skirt" are my favorites. It's so catchy and I think it's exactly what I wanted from AGO.

 

Yeah I can see pretty much all of these songs being stuck in my head.

 

The songs are catchy but don't feel corny. He uses one melodic line three times in three different songs.. @cwhit this is what you were referring too, I do think they are all connected in some way tho

If we're gonna continue the ManOrch AGO comparisons, this is definitely their METN. Not sonically, but lyrically and as far as songwriting goes it's Fucking untouchable in my opinion. Maybe it's just hitting me at the right time, but I'm truly blown away by this album.

I said a while ago I didn't ever feel this album was restrained by him. What do you guys think?

 

Halfway through, this is really damn good. Love "Empty Nest" at the moment, weakest track so far is "Home" for me.

ive literally played nothing but this and The Season since it streamed its been great.

 

Whatever/Empty Nest is a great one-two punch.

 

maybe i'll listen again, was extremely underwhelmed my first listen

 

On first listen this was good, but it didn't blow me away. I may just need to hear it again couple times and familiarize myself with the songs, so I'll hold off on criticizing anymore until I get the chance to do that. All I'll say for now is I liked what I heard, but nothing really wowed me (except maybe Whatever and Empty Nest. And a little bit of Room To Talk).

I love this thing. I'm happy it exists, I doubted it would happen. All Get Out is incredible.

 

Can't wait to listen to this with the lyrics.

I can't get over how good this is. They really scared me with the first two songs.

Room To Talk is just insane when it slows down and breathes.
