    Idk I def think there is a certain feel for those bands that can go from super soft to almost whispering vocals to belting intense yelly stuff. It's one of those genres you know it when you hear it. I certainly didn't coin the term

    Yeah if that's the definition then Nirvana are the best dynamic rock band ever.

    Idk I get what teebs is saying, but at the same time dynamic rock feels weird because it almost insinuates that other bands and artists aren't dynamic. Of course, the same argument has been said against emo music. Bands like AGO and ManOrch and Brand New all have a certain feel and style to them that's unique to their brands of alt rock.

    I think it's more in the vocal approach but idk. And maybe nirvana was a great dynamic rock band

    Yeah I think Garden Window is a good place to start too. They have a small discography so you'll get through it in no time.

    you love thrice right? you'll love it. ive seen obrother live like 6 times and two of the times were opening for thrice. and two were opening for manchester orchestra.
